ONEbyONE Mascara

I think I may have found a new favorite mascara. That's right, children, something is replacing my handy dandy Falsies. I think it might be the concept and packaging that Maybelline ropes me in with every time, but they come out with greater mascara than any other drugstore brand i can think of. The next hit on my list is the Rimmel London SexyCurves mascara. I haven't tried anything by them anyway, and I want to see how that crazy brush works out. Anyhoo, we're talking about a different mascara.

The whole idea behind ONEbyONE mascara is to catch every last lash (am I the only one who thought about Loreal's Telescopic Explosion?) and provide a complete coating.

My Thoughts:
I thought the mascara did just that. It lengthened by itself in two coats more than my tried-and-true Telescopic Explosion + Falsies combo ever did. I have naturally curly, long eyelashes to begin with, so this mascara made them reach into my eyebrows in two coats! Brownie points for this mascara! I'm thinking (I haven't tried it yet) that you could wear this for day and thicken it up with the dramatic Falsies mascara to go out at night. As soon as I try it I'll let y'all know.

I think the packaging is what brought my eyes to it in the first place. It is way cute, and I kind of wanted it just for that. It's got an amazing retro feel with its contrasting colors on the tube and font choice. At least, that's what I think of. It's $6.49 in Target right now, and I think it's fairly new. I'm sure the price will go up in the future, so grab it while you can!

About ME! :)

Hey y'all, I just wanted to tell y'all what this blog is all about. Is it about anything specific? YOU BET IT'S NOT! No, friends, this is about makeup, books, movies, and anything else I really, really need to tell someone. I'm trying to create my own personal cast list for a movie of the Hunger Games, one of my favorite book trilogies. But before I tackle that turd, I think I'll do a mascara review.

And you thought this blog was going to be focused.
